I'm Jake, a Brand and Lettering Designer who helps businesses start up, communicate or change, with expressive typography and design that focuses on the essentials, makes sense and is easily remembered.

Over the past two decades I've worked with founders, brand teams and agencies including Interbrand, BBH and Ogilvy, on brands like Netflix, Strava and adidas — building identities, collaborating on campaign ideas and delivering work that's clear, engaging and obsessively crafted.

Hands-on by nature, I'm most at home getting involved as early as possible: adapting quickly, playing well with others, and staying close to the detail right through to delivery.

Based south of Bristol in the Mendip Hills with my family and two cats (pictured: Rambo — Head of Accounts). Rarely far from a bike, running shoes, or the pub.
