The Run Show is a new to-be-released YouTube training channel hosted by Michael “Gunshow” Watson – personal coach to Salomon athlete Ryan Sandes in Cape Town. He wanted a simple logo reflecting the style of his sessions – unedited and recorded in real time for people to follow along. A relaxed feel with some banter.

Michael wanted a local animal in motion so we settled on the Cape Hare – a typical hare with well-developed legs for leaping and running. Hand-drawn letterforms and natural edges reflect the intended feel of the sessions and colours are a twist to the SA gold and green.

A basic set of logo assets and colourways were handed to Mike to get him started.
